Scroll down with a mouse by using the scroll bar along the app’s right edge. On a touchscreen, just slide your finger up or down the screen to see newer or older photos. Click a photo to see it full-screen and then choose any menu option to view, navigate, manipulate, or share your pictures. I find that opening all images in a folder works. CTRL+A then ENTER if all you have in the folder are images. If it's a mix of files, CTRL +A then right click an image and click open. Extra steps = UX Fail!

If you have a lot of pictures in the Photos App, it can be time consuming to scroll through pictures to find what you're looking for. Luckily, there is an easy shortcut to scroll to the top or bottom of the pictures in an album.

Go to the Photos App and open an Album. It will show you the place in the album where you left off.
To get to the oldest photos, tap the top of the screen, near the time. You'll go to the oldest photos.
To go back to the most recent photos, tap the bottom of the screen, in between 'Photos' and 'Shared' or 'Shared' and 'Albums'. You'll go to the most recent photos.
