M84 Telescope Manuals

The riflescope chosen for the new M1C sniper rifle was the 7/8-inch tube 2.5x Lyman Alaskan - which was designated 'TELESCOPE M82'. The sporting versions of this riflescope had proven to be rugged, and capable of withstanding rough and tumble use in the wilds of Alaska, and to withstand the hard recoil of rifles with the firepower to put down a 1,000 pound grizzly. The M84 has a 2.2 magnification, universal focus, 27 foot field of view at 100 yd,.870 in diameter, and a horizontal cross-wire reticle post. All three scopes were used in the Korean war. 1. On some systems with Microsoft's Internet Explorer, after you click on images in the MKB to ENLARGE them, you may find they automatically size smaller in your browser's window making them hard to read. The auto sizing is your browser's way of keeping images entirely within the screen size you have set.
If this happens, move your mouse pointer to the bottom right corner of the pic and hold it there. You will see a small box open up with four arrows point outwards and it will say 'Expand to Regular Size'. Click this box and the pic will open up to it's normal size and you should now be able to read any text and make out small details in the pic. .....

2. PdfThought I would drop you a line about a Canadian guy who fixed/overhauled mine. It originally had, what I believe was some mold or stuff on the inside lens. He did a super job of cleaning and servicing.
It came back and I could not tell that it had been opened or touched. The inside was as new. And I subsiquently sent him a couple more on behalf of a few friends that also owned M1Ds. They all came back without any signs of being opened, but all new inside.
It was a while ago, and I think it was $50ea for the service.
